Biography:
Kamigo Marketing, LLC specializes in assisting small businesses in the Northeast that offers products or services in the green or Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) industry. Owned by Charlene Andersen and located in Nottingham, NH, the company takes its name from a Native American word meaning high ridge or mountain. The company also focuses on boosting the success of women-owned businesses.
Andersen’s goal is to live and work in a sustainable manner and to share her learning and progress with others with the hope of getting more people and businesses to understand their impact on the earth and society. With a particular focus on reducing ecological footprints for small business owners, as well as developing dynamic marketing plans to make these businesses more successful both within and outside their niches, Kamigo Marketing is interested in promoting a more natural, stable and sustainable marketing plan.
A graduate of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, Charlene Andersen is a seasoned marketing and business executive with more than 20 years of experience. As a young girl, she developed a love of the natural world that she now brings to bear in her work with businesses.
Andersen now works with small businesses, as well as with global corporations, teaching them how to efficiently and effectively develop their business practices, products and services to have the greatest value for their company with the least impact on the environment.
Prior to launching Kamigo Marketing, Andersen served as global marketing manager of Parker Hannifin-Chomerics Division, where she led the company into new marketplaces and was instrumental in bringing new products to the market. She has extensive formal training in manufacturing disciplines, business management, problem-solving techniques and facilitation methods, focused marketing techniques, values-centered leadership and sustainable living.
